Travis McCoy is truly an underrated artist. He sings, rap, write him own music, play the guitar, and does his band's artwork. He incorporates different styles of music into his songs. A true artist listens and appreciates different styles of music and don't try to imitate, but try to create a new and fresh sound after being inspired. That's what Travis McCoy does.
I'm really looking forward to Travis' first solo effort, The Lazarus Project. Gym Class Heroes is one of my favorite bands and he is one of my favorite artists due to his different style of rapping and the way he wears his heart on his sleeve. His poetry comes from his soul and his eclectic style of music makes him a true artist.
